Tips For a Successful Event
1. Foursomes. All groups must be arranged in foursomes and each player must have a set of golf clubs.
2. Tee Sheet. The tournament tee sheet should be filled out with all participants being aware of their starting times. Any empty spaces must be filled by moving groups forward. Confirmation of the final number of players and meals is made 7 days in advance of your tournament date and the payment made in full at that time.
3. Rentals. Fill in # of carts, rental clubs for each foursome. Credit card numbers are required to rent golf clubs. The clubs are limited. Reserve to avoid disappointment.
4. Power Carts. Power carts may be reserved on a first come first served basis up to the date of the tournament. Credit card numbers are required to rent a power cart when picking up the keys. The carts are limited. Reserve to avoid disappointment.
5. Arrival. All players should arrive at the course a MINIMUM OF 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THEIR ASIGNED TEE TIME. Each group should present themselves to the starter 10 minutes before their start time.
6. Check-in. Only the convener should check in with the Golf Shop. Participants that are required to pay individually for cart or club rentals must do so prior to tee off.
7. Format. Make sure that everyone understands the format that you are playing, i.e. Scramble, Best Ball etc. If a significant portion of your group consists of non-golfers, stroke play will not be permitted. Call the golf shop for suggestions or assistance.
8. Pace of Play. We want all of our guests to enjoy their game of golf and everyone enjoys the benefit of a conscious effort to maintain a reasonable pace of play. (2hrs and 30 minutes for 9 holes). Our Starters and Players’ Assistants are on the course to help you enjoy your day.
9. L.C.B.O. Regulations Our staff will be pleased to serve you after 11:00 AM.
ALCOHOL AND/OR COOLERS, BOTTLES, OR THERMOS JUGS BROUGHT ONTO THE COURSE WILL AND NOT BE TOLERATED AND WILL RESULT IN REMOVAL FROM THE COURSE.
NO GOLFER IS PERMITTED TO BE INTOXICATED WHILE ON THE PREMISES.
ANYONE FOUND IN VIOLATION OF THESE RULES WILL BE ESCORTED OFF THE PROPERTY. THE L.C.B.O. HAS STRICT REGULATIONS BY WHICH RIVEREDGE GOLF CLUB MUST ABIDE SO AS NOT TO JEOPARDIZE ITS LICENSE.
